Sales Page - ITSJ Virtual Travel Experience

Client

The Revd Dr Peter Walker is widely acknowledged as one of the foremost experts on the the history and geography of Jerusalem. His business ‘Walkway Books’ is how he markets his books, courses, tours and other products. The In The Steps of Jesus (ITSJ) Virtual Travel Experience was designed to enable people who couldn’t go on an in-person tour, to experience the Holy Land for themselves, from the comfort of their home.

Challenge

The biggest challenge was to give the reader a clear understanding of what the product was and the value it offered them. Being the first product of its kind in the faith-based travel industry, the client was keen to avoid customer confusion and demonstrate they were truly purchasing an experience, rather than simply a course.

Solution

I chose to structure this sales page by beginning with a brief summary of the elements included in the product, as well as their consumer benefits, followed by a more detailed breakdown of what the customer would get for their money, using subheads to aid clarity. At the bottom I laid out how the course was structured to give the customer a roadmap of sorts for what their experience would look like if they purchased this product.
